Hey, what happened to all the quizes?

AI Thread Summary
Quizzes have disappeared due to a data loss during a recent upgrade, leaving users frustrated. The system currently shows "No quizzes are currently open," and existing quiz content was lost, although quiz writers can recreate them if they have copies. Users are encouraged to create new quizzes, and there is a suggestion to develop one on 90s rap. The issue stems from software limitations rather than admin incompetence, as the upgrade could not import previous data. Overall, the community is seeking solutions and new quiz content to replace what was lost.

Is something broken? Was there a data loss? Where have all the quizes gone? They were cool: bring them back.

Click "Quiz" in the quick links near the top of the page, and it will take you there.

Yes, but it says "No Quiz's are currently open".

Well, what do you know?

OK, I'm tapped out of answers. Better get an Admin on the case. :blushing:

Sorry folks, they were lost with the upgrade. :frown: If any of the quiz writers still have copies of the quiz content, they can rewrite them. There should be no problem creating new ones though, so let us know if you try and can't.

Hmm, maybe I should create a quiz on 90s rap.

Here's a link to the Boolean Algebra quiz that used to be posted here:

It wasn't the admins' fault, it was the software. My understanding is it was the same problem as with the journals, that the upgrade had the capability of keeping the feature, but no way to import the data from the previous version. :frown:
