AI Thread Summary
To find citations of a specific scientific paper, Google Scholar is recommended as it provides citation counts and details on who cited the paper. Additionally, consulting a librarian can help access citation indexes effectively. Web of Science is another valuable tool for citation analysis, and it is noted that library access may be available for users. Utilizing these resources will enhance the ability to conduct thorough meta-research. Engaging with these platforms will yield comprehensive citation information.

Does anyone have any recommendations for databases or other (presumably online) resources that I might use to determine citations of a particular scientific paper. That is, I wish to see not only how many times a particular paper was cited, but I would also, if possible, like to see when/where/by whom the paper was cited. Additional info is always good as well. I am a bit new to this sort of meta-research. :)

I have access to on campus University internet resources that should have necessary licences/subscriptions if that is an issue.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

A Google Scholar search on the paper will also include citations to that paper.

Beyond that, you can always approach a librarian for help in getting the citation index for that paper.

Cool, thanks. I am pretty sure that I have library access to that.

It doesn't interest me, and I am also very bad at it compared to other math courses I have done. The other courses I have done are calculus I-III, ODEs, Linear Algebra, and Prob/Stats. Is it a...
