How did you find PF?
I am a student of physics and mathematics at the University of Antioquia (UdeA) in Colombia ... I have been facing some problems of Newtonian physics, but I needed someone to discuss with, the pandemic is preventing me from communicating with my teachers, so I turned to the internet, thus finding this forum, which caught my attention because it is not a forum where you find answers to problems. An answer is useless if you don't understand the magic behind deep, rigorous and detailed understanding. Instead, I have found deep and valuable discussions that have been very useful in my recent academic process, moreover, they make me want to enter into debate too and give my opinion which I think would be useful for many.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
