Gentlemen please.
I am trying to find out how much a motor can lift through a gear reduction to a drum connected a block and tackle assembly.
The motor can develop 16K N-M of torque, through a gear reduction of 7.51, turning a drum having a diameter of 1 meter, using 0.0508 meter rope. there are 10 lines in the block and tackle assembly ( 5 stationery upper sheaves and 5 lower moving sheaves).
How do I calculate how much wieght this will lift?
