SUMMARY

The discussion centers on calculating normal stress and shear stress on beams, a fundamental topic in structural engineering. Participants emphasize the importance of demonstrating an attempt at solving the problem before seeking help, adhering to forum rules. Key concepts such as moment and shear definitions are highlighted as essential starting points for understanding the calculations involved. The conversation underscores the necessity of engaging with the material rather than relying solely on external assistance.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of normal stress and shear stress concepts
  • Familiarity with beam theory in structural engineering
  • Knowledge of moment and shear force diagrams
  • Basic proficiency in mechanics of materials
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the definitions and applications of normal stress and shear stress in beams
  • Study how to create and interpret moment and shear force diagrams
  • Learn about the principles of beam theory and its applications in engineering
  • Explore software tools for structural analysis, such as SAP2000 or ANSYS

I know this is not a fair way to solve like this. But i didnt have much time to try.If some one help me whit the solutions i will be really happy.

I don't see any sign of your attempt at a solution, or any indication of why you cannot start. The forum rules are that you must make an attempt. To start off, what definitions of moment and shear are you using?
