How to find out contact time of 2 Carrom men in carrom board game?

I am trying to develop a game of carrom board.
For this i want to know how to find contact time if Co-efficient of restitution and velocities before contact is known?

Suggest you determine it experimentally. Aim one piece at another, record the sound of the impact with a microphone, then look at the waveform to see how long it lasted.
