Is This Free Energy Generator Really Possible?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion highlights the irony of individuals investing significant time and resources into developing free energy solutions, such as perpetual motion generators, while a simple inquiry to Dr. Gibbs could potentially yield answers. The conversation critiques the unrealistic nature of these free energy concepts, emphasizing that they often contradict established laws of thermodynamics. The humorous mention of a fictional free-energy generator underscores the skepticism surrounding such claims and the tendency for people to chase improbable scientific breakthroughs.

Clearly, all this takes is politely asking Dr. Gibbs if he can spare some! And instead, countless people spend many millions of man-hours trying to generate energy out of magnets or vacuum fluctuations!

I have a free-energy perpetual motion generator that violates eight different laws of thermodynamics, using only magnets, quantum field theory, and pinwheels. Call 1-800-CRAKPOT for our free demo version!

Batteries sold seperately.

Similar to the 2024 thread, here I start the 2025 thread. As always it is getting increasingly difficult to predict, so I will make a list based on other article predictions. You can also leave your prediction here. Here are the predictions of 2024 that did not make it: Peter Shor, David Deutsch and all the rest of the quantum computing community (various sources) Pablo Jarrillo Herrero, Allan McDonald and Rafi Bistritzer for magic angle in twisted graphene (various sources) Christoph...
