I'm Howard Barnes, a retired electronics/instrumentation engineer, interested in physics, maths, engineering &, now, astronomy. Yes, I have other interests, but these are irrelevant to PF (any motorcyclists in here?). I can be pedantic about the use of good English, & insist that explanations must be lucid & in logical order, so if I can answer any questions then my answers will be understandable.

Welcome to PF!

Its good to have people with experience joining our group. In general, we try to provide concise and accurate answers in English backed up by solid references. Your experience and desire to do the same will be appreciated. Welcome aboard. (I hope that was clearly written. :- )

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
