Initial report M 6.4 ... looks a little bigger when compared to other M6+ events from that region
between eastern mainland New Guinea and New Britain

, thanks for sharing this update. It's definitely interesting to see how this M 6.4 compares to other M6+ events in the same region. The fact that it has been upgraded to a M 6.6 definitely adds to its significance. It's always important to closely monitor seismic activity in areas prone to earthquakes. Let's hope there are no major aftershocks or damage from this event.
