Multiple e-mails at once in gmail

I need to send out a whole bunch of the same e-mails to different people and I know I can use CC or BCC, but I want to address them by their name as well. Is there a way to do that in Gmail?

if I am not mistaken you are taking about mail merge right?

instead of a generic Hey everyone
you say Dear %FirstName%

if that's the case, gmail is able to do this
