MATLAB New section for Maple, MatLAB, Mathematica?

AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers around the proposal to create dedicated sections on physicsforum.com for different mathematics software, specifically Maple, MatLab, and Mathematica. The idea is to group related questions and discussions about these software packages for better organization. However, there are currently no plans to implement these separate forums. In the meantime, users are encouraged to post their questions in the existing physics or technology forums. The conversation also highlights the experience of users with math software, particularly in the context of general engineering and MatLab.

Can we create a section on physicsforum.com dedicated to the different mathematics software? Separate forums for Maple, MatLab, and Mathematica would allow us to group together questions on those different software packages.

Currently we don't have plans on adding those forums. Questions on those topics can go in the physics or technology forums in the meantime. Thanks for the suggestion!

I've handled many math software problems in general engineering as well, but primarily Matlab stuff.
