Open high school physics textbook?

AI Thread Summary
Several free online high school physics textbooks are available, with Benjamin Crowell's materials on lightandmatter.com being highly recommended. Other notable resources include Physics 2000 and Calculus 2000, as well as a comprehensive book on Web MotionMountain.com, although it is considered lengthy and less user-friendly. Overall, Crowell's work is praised for its quality and accessibility in the realm of open educational resources.

I have also read that the reason is related to some disputes related to copyright. Do you have any further information about it? Did you have the opportunity to get your hands on this revised edition? I am really curious about it, also considering that I am planning to buy the book in the near future... Thanks!
