PF Slow Again? Is Forum Lag a Problem?

Is it just me, or is the forum slow again today?

I've been on for the last hour, and hadn't noticed anything.
 
We've gone through this before. If I remember correctly it's every time chat is on.
 
It is even slower today. But it must be just me.
 
Well there must be something, I'm stuck out of chat. Won't load.
 

Thread 'Thank you to mentors, advisors and members'

I want to thank those members who interacted with me a couple of years ago in two Optics Forum threads. They were @Drakkith, @hutchphd, @Gleb1964, and @KAHR-Alpha. Thread 'Thank you physics forums, 20 years later'

About 20 years ago, in my mid-30s (and with a BA in economics and a master's in business), I started taking night classes in physics hoping to eventually earn the science degree I'd always wanted but never pursued.
