So last year I took a course in quantum computing, but I didn't understand how can you build quantum computer?

I mean do you have literature on the technical issues of physically engineering such an apparatus?

The course I took was really theoretical, but I don't understand yet of how to build such a thing?

Any literature on applied quantum computing?

Thanks in advance.

The last chapter of the book "Fundamentals of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information" by Peter Lambropoulos and David Petrosyan has information about this.

Thanks, I don't understand why did this post was moved to general physics forum, but I don't complain anymore... :-)

If we release an electron around a positively charged sphere, the initial state of electron is a linear combination of Hydrogen-like states. According to quantum mechanics, evolution of time would not change this initial state because the potential is time independent. However, classically we expect the electron to collide with the sphere. So, it seems that the quantum and classics predict different behaviours!
