I am happy to hear that you are interested in pursuing a Master of Science in Astrophysics. Both the UK and US have excellent universities that offer this program. In the UK, some top universities for Astrophysics are University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, and University of Edinburgh. In the US, University of California, Berkeley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and University of Chicago are highly regarded for their Astrophysics programs.

In terms of entry, most universities require applicants to have a bachelor's degree in a related field such as Physics, Astronomy, or Mathematics. However, some universities may also consider applicants with a degree in a different field if they have a strong background in Physics and Mathematics.

Qualifications for the MS program in Astrophysics typically include a strong academic record, letters of recommendation, and a statement of purpose outlining your research interests and career goals. Some universities may also require GRE scores and/or English proficiency test scores.

Since you have a degree in computer science, you may need to take some additional courses to meet the qualifications for the MS program in Astrophysics. I recommend reaching out to the admissions office of the universities you are interested in to inquire about specific requirements and any additional steps you may need to take.

Additionally, I suggest exploring career options in Astrophysics to gain a better understanding of the field and how your computer science background may be useful. You can also reach out to professors or professionals in the field for guidance and advice on how to best prepare for a career in Astrophysics. Best of luck on your academic journey!
