Question on spin-zero Feynman rules

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

The Feynman rule for external legs of spin-zero bosons is to multiply by 1. This rule is confirmed in the literature, specifically in the texts "Modern Introduction to Quantum Field Theory" by Maggiore and "Field Quantization" by Greiner. These sources provide foundational insights into the application of Feynman rules in quantum field theory.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Feynman diagrams
  • Familiarity with quantum field theory (QFT)
  • Knowledge of spin-zero particles
  • Basic concepts from "Modern Introduction to Quantum Field Theory" by Maggiore
NEXT STEPS
  • Read "Modern Introduction to Quantum Field Theory" by Maggiore for foundational concepts
  • Study "Field Quantization" by Greiner for practical applications of Feynman rules
  • Explore advanced topics in quantum field theory focusing on particle interactions
  • Investigate the implications of spin in quantum mechanics and field theory
USEFUL FOR

Students and researchers in theoretical physics, particularly those focusing on quantum field theory and particle physics, will benefit from this discussion.

Hi everyone. I have a very silly question. What is the Feynman rule for external legs of spin-zero boson? Is it just to multply by 1?

Thank you

yes. Look in Maggiore "Modern introduction in QFT" or Greiner "Field Quantization".
