A rainbow tells you where the sun is behind you - it's directly opposite the centre of the rainbow.
So, if this pic were real, the sun would be opposite the crosshairs (naively, I'm not accounting for lens distortion). It suggests the sun is almost directly overhead
Worse:
There's a shadow here, showing where the sun really is.

The angular radius of a rainbow is about 40° to 42° (violet to red). In the picture, the violet edge almost grazes the horizon. As the sun gets higher in the sky, the top of the rainbow gets closer to the ground, and the visible portion of the arc gets smaller.

It's at a model-train show. One of the club layouts included a miniature drive-in theater, showing a movie on a video screen and playing the soundtrack through the speakers. When I was a little kid. I don't even remember the movie, but I think it bored me, so I went exploring around the lot and behind the concession stand. Also, the screen was really dim, and the projection failed once or twice, causing everyone to honk their horns and flash their lights. Those speakers always sounded terrible, because they had to be outdoor speakers that could be left in the rain. It was better to have a theater that broadcast the sound to your car radio. 'Went to another [politically related] weekly protest this week. Here are the photos that fit within PF's rules and guidelines (other photos not included). There was occasional rain and drizzle. That didn't stop me though.
Figure 1. "Dog and shoe composition," Leica 35mm Summilux-M ASPH, 1/160 sec, f/5.6 (might be f/8).
This is my favorite shot in quite a while (see Fig. 1). Sometimes -- rarely, but sometimes -- decent composition just jumps in your lap. Most of this shot was luck, of course. There was no way to plan this composition. It all happened in the blink of an eye. I've never even met these puppies before.
One might argue that the photo is cluttered. But for an unplanned, impromptu, dynamic, street photography scene, I'm pretty proud of it.
My self-critiques are (1) I may have ever-so-slightly blown some highlights on the lead puppy, and (2) there's a bit of weird motion blur on the rear puppy. These puppies were moving around fast. You might think that 1/160 sec is pretty fast for a 35mm lens, but maybe not quite enough for these two little guys.

You may remember these two puppies (see Figs. 2-7) from a previous post a few weeks ago. They are the most adorable things ever.

There is so much history for me in just a few miles on this road.
Medical building and Holy name on the left.
Holy name. Our holy days of obligation would have been here when I was at 6th form. The music teacher had a wicked sense of humour. When were singing hymns he would stick a wrong note in the gaps so we could hear it. Nothing worse than a wrong note, in church,very Catholic and very serious.
The union on the left, I saw Focus and Fish there. Admin building behind.
There is so much history for me in just a few miles on this road.
