AI Thread Summary
The discussion centers on the need for the ratio of specific heats (gamma) for 52NiO-YSZ and YSZ in a COMSOL simulation, as these materials are not listed in the software's bibliography. Participants confirm that both materials are solids and discuss their incompressibility. It is concluded that if these materials are nearly incompressible solids, their specific heat ratio would be approximately 1.0. This information is crucial for accurate simulations in COMSOL. Understanding the properties of these materials enhances simulation reliability.

Hi everyone!

In a simulation using COMSOL, the ratio of specific heats of both 52NiO-YSZ and YSZ are required as these materials are not included in the software's bibliography.

So, I would like to know the ratio of specific heats (gamma) of 52NiO-YSZ and YSZ.

Thank you.

If they are nearly incompressible solids, then the ratio of their specific heats is 1.0

ok thank you
