Participants are asked to provide names for two colors, blue and green, along with their gender, to gather data for a comprehensive report. The experiment seeks to compile a large test case to either support or refute Lakoff's claims regarding gendered color associations. Results will be collected and analyzed by the following Thursday. The inquiry emphasizes the importance of subjective responses related to color perception.

[SOLVED] scientific experiment lakoffs theory

Homework Statement

i am attempting to deduce the relationship between the human brain and colours according to gender.
i aim to compile evidence of a large test case (which would likely rival lakoff's) to produce a detailed report to combat or confirm the theory.

Homework Equations

the experiment:

looking at the two colours below (answer separately), what names for them come to mind?

please answer with as many suggestions as you can think of (without looking at prior answers). :P

& include your gender

The Attempt at a Solution

this experiment will run till next thursday when i compile the results together and post my findings.

is lakoff's theory correct?

thankyou.

p.s. even if it seems silly as long as it relates to the colour eg a reaction or a product it is permissable.
