Short homework check (average speed)

AI Thread Summary
The homework involves calculating the time per mode of transport and total time to reach a final destination, with a focus on average fuel consumption for different vehicles. The student provided a table with calculations for fuel usage based on specific distances and fuel efficiency rates: a truck at 30L/100km, a train at 1.2L/100km, and an airplane at 3.5L/100km. The calculations for fuel consumption were shared, showing specific routes and total fuel required. The student confirmed they did not convert hours into minutes as per their teacher's advice. The submission is nearing its deadline, prompting a request for verification of the calculations.

Homework Statement

Hey guys, I just want you to check out my homework before I send it off!
First of all, I attached a table in which I was required to come up with “Time per mode of transport” and “Total time to reach final destination” I included my answers right on the table in the corresponding columns, so have a look at that. Using the table I was also asked to calculate the average fuel consumption for each route considering that a truck uses 30L of fuel per 100km, a train 1.2L/100km and an airplane 3.5L/100km. I will provide the answers for that in “the attempt at solution”

Homework Equations

Total time = total distance/ speed
Simple addition/ division and multiplication

The Attempt at a Solution

16. Holland Marsh to Barrie = 30L/100km*31km=9.3L
Thorold to Toronto = 1.2L/100km*63km + Toronto to Barrie = 30L/100Km*81km = 25L
Solano to Toronto = 3.5L/100km*2279km + Toronto to Barrie = 30L/100km*81km = 104L

Also i did not convert hours into minutes, as i finally was able to contact my teacher who said to leave it in hours!

A little bump, just want to know if this is correct!

Now this is coming close to its due date, please check! :)

I multiplied the values first without the error limit. Got 19.38. rounded it off to 2 significant figures since the given data has 2 significant figures. So = 19. For error I used the above formula. It comes out about 1.48. Now my question is. Should I write the answer as 19±1.5 (rounding 1.48 to 2 significant figures) OR should I write it as 19±1. So in short, should the error have same number of significant figures as the mean value or should it have the same number of decimal places as...
Thread 'A cylinder connected to a hanging mass'
Let's declare that for the cylinder, mass = M = 10 kg Radius = R = 4 m For the wall and the floor, Friction coeff = ##\mu## = 0.5 For the hanging mass, mass = m = 11 kg First, we divide the force according to their respective plane (x and y thing, correct me if I'm wrong) and according to which, cylinder or the hanging mass, they're working on. Force on the hanging mass $$mg - T = ma$$ Force(Cylinder) on y $$N_f + f_w - Mg = 0$$ Force(Cylinder) on x $$T + f_f - N_w = Ma$$ There's also...
