The discussion revolves around the complexities of romantic attraction, highlighting two main components: physical attraction and personality attraction. Participants reflect on personal experiences where initial infatuation faded upon discovering deeper personality flaws or physical repulsiveness, leading to the conclusion that superficial love is common. The conversation explores whether one type of attraction is more valuable than the other, with many suggesting that personality often holds greater importance. There is an acknowledgment that while physical attraction is significant, it can be compromised if the personality is compelling. The challenges of online dating are also discussed, emphasizing the potential for misjudgment based on idealized perceptions rather than reality. Ultimately, the consensus suggests that genuine love requires a balance of both physical and emotional connection, and that true love transcends superficiality.

I know that there has to be a witty response to that, but I just can't find it. Sorry.

You have got to be kidding! I only have 52 (not counting this one). Your own gorgeous self has more than 1,500 and Ivan... that bugger has more than 100 times as many as me!

That means you've actually ventured out of GD 52 times. The posts in here don't show up on your post count. :-p

I'm not sure that I understand. Do you mean like when I go to GP and answer some kid's question about cars or something?

No, posts made here in this forum "General Discussion" do not show up as your post number under your name. They are not counted.

You have made around 2,500 posts since you joined at the end of last month. :bugeye: Most of which were in the last two weeks.

Cripes! I thought it seemed like more than 50, but I really don't have much sense of numbers. No bloody wonder I have no fingerprints left. (To be fair, though, at least two or three hundred of those were Lucy.)

As long as I have your attention on technical matters, though, I have a couple of other questions. I posted a response to the calculator thread. Since I don't know how to make a link, I just typed out the address of a web site. When I looked back at it, it was a link. How'd that happen?

Secondly, is there a simple way to tell me how to put a picture in?

It was a mainstream release over here, subtitled. If you don't mind your soft semi-porn in B&W, the video's available.

I'm a guy, porn doesn't bother me in the least.

but renting a movie involves so much getting up. Try to remember it the next time I'm around such a venue.
