AI Thread Summary
PF is transitioning from Apache to LiteSpeed Enterprise on Monday, aiming to enhance page loading speeds and security. The upcoming version of LiteSpeed will utilize SPDY technology, further improving SSL processing. While the switch may cause temporary issues, these are expected to be short-lived. Users have already reported noticeable improvements in site speed, particularly in chat functionality. Some users are experiencing session timeouts, but this may not be related to the server upgrade.

On Monday PF will be ditching Apache web server for LiteSpeed Enterprise. This should have a positive effect on page loading. The next version of LiteSpeed, which should be stable any week now, will be even more quicker as we take advantage of SPDY (improves SSL processing).

The web server is pretty central to operations here so switching over and configuring it may bring a few hiccups. Any problems should be short lived. Do not worry.

As long as it's not prefaced with "I'm from the government,"

Im noticing a better speed, especially in the chat which is good.
Today when I logged in I keep seeing that I keep constantly getting logged out if idle for a couple of minutes, not sure if this is to do with the server work - may just be me!
