Hey all! I'm a junior undergrad and am beginning to think about what graduate programs I would like to apply to next fall. Recently I've been doing theoretical research in quantum computing which I'm really enjoying. I'm pretty sure that this is the sort of research I would like to pursue in graduate school. I've been looking around some, but I wanted to get some opinions on top programs for graduate study in quantum theory, specifically quantum information, quantum computing, and/or quantum foundations.

Selectivity or difficulty of admission doesn't matter for right now - I'm just trying to get a feel for what the best possible places might be, although if anyone knows of any good programs that are less selective that would be helpful too.

Thanks for the help!

I'd look into the University of Maryland - their Joint Quantum Institute is a great place to be if you're studying quantum information, and they also give out fellowships to incoming students.

I think Caltech is supposed to be very strong among it's peers.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the responses.
