Hi,
I'm new here!
I am a production manager for a company that makes organic, raw, sprouted, organic foods! We sell nuts, seeds, and grains, among other things, and we make everything from brownies and sweets to nut butters and super food bars. One of my duties is to manage our nut butters department and in doing so I am starting to work with VFDs/Inverters that run our butter grinders. I have a B.S in Animal Science from North Carolina State University (i'm sure you're wondering, "what is she doing here"?!?) but have been working at this company for 2 years now.

I am here to gain some electrical engineering knowledge because I obviously don't have any previous experience with this field and I want to learn about these motors and inverters to further my knowledge for the company.

I look forward to learning here :-)

Hey, welcome to the forum.

Just as a word of advice, unless you have a fairly solid grounding in the basics of motors and inverters you're likely to find it difficult to articulate questions in a way that will elicit the most useful answers. Best thing for you would be to read up on the basics before you try to attack specific questions. It's certainly not a requirement that you do it that way but you'll likely find that the most helpful approach.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
