I couldn't view PF this morning (4 Sep. 2008), this was around 7 to 9 am Eastern USA time. Did anyone else have a problem? I could browse other sites just fine.

Yes, it was down for a while this morning into early afternoon). I was up quite early today and couldn't get on (around 5:30 AM EDT) and that lasted until at least noonish.

Kernel failure, plus all this traffic is swamping the server

Thanks for the sanity check ... I've decided not to panic. :-p
