Hi everyone!

I don't really know how to introduce myself, but I guess I should be honest. I'm a student of electrical engineering, physics and mathematics enthusiast (kind of fits the profession, I guess). As an undergraduate, I'm still searching for my true orientation, but I'm almost certain my career path will be either in ICT or robotics.

I would like to say hi to everyone here, I hope I'll be able to contribute as much as possible. Compared to Stack Exchange sites, I hope that more reasonable people dwell here. Even though assistants and professors are almost always available for us students, sometimes it's better to ask around, hence why I decided to join this forum.

I read the rules, I'll respect them. I'll try my best to post coherent questions. Please be patient if I make a mistake.

To conclude this, I'd like to wish a lovely Sunday to all of you!

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
