Masculinity is often associated with traits such as physical presence, including a muscular physique and a low voice. It embodies characteristics like strong-willed decision-making, a warrior mentality, and the influence of testosterone. Masculine figures are typically viewed as exuding sexuality, not necessarily in a promiscuous sense, but with a sense of duty and pride. Additionally, masculinity is linked to political and economic power, respect, and even fear from others. Key attributes include toughness, grit, perseverance, and the role of a provider and survivor. The discussion highlights the complexities and societal perceptions surrounding masculinity and its dominance.

Physical presence (muscular physique, for example), a low voice, strong-willed decision maker, warrior, testosterone, exudes sexuality (not necessarily a philanderer as he may have a sense of duty, obligation, pride, or other more ‘important’ matters to contend with, etc.). Politically and/or economically powerful, respected, even feared. Toughness and grit to persevere, a survivor, a provider.
