Discussion Overview

The discussion revolves around the concept of a CNC machine feed regulator, exploring its function and the associated components, including a query about indicator lights on the machine.

Discussion Character

  • Exploratory, Technical explanation, Debate/contested

Main Points Raised

  • Some participants describe the CNC machine feed regulator as a device that allows adjustment of the actual feedrate, enabling speeds to be increased or decreased from the programmed values.
  • One participant expresses frustration over the lack of comprehensive images of the machine, suggesting that small section pictures are insufficient for understanding.
  • A participant requests clarification regarding the purpose of certain indicator lights on the machine, but another participant indicates they cannot provide an answer based on the available information.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants have differing views on the adequacy of the information provided, with some expressing frustration over the lack of clarity and others attempting to explain the function of the feed regulator. The discussion remains unresolved regarding the specific details of the indicator lights.

Contextual Notes

Limitations include the absence of detailed images of the entire machine and the lack of information about the indicator lights, which may hinder full understanding of the topic.

This is CNC machine feed regulator.
At 100% the actual feedrate will be that in the code.
With the regulator, you can slow it down, or speed it up.

Thank you so much. Do you know what these lights at the top are for?

I can not say what they are for from what I see here.

how long are you going to just mess us all around by showing us small section pics of some unknown much larger machine ??

your method is very frustrating to everyone
show a pic of the whole machine including its information labels !

else I will suggest to the mentors to lock this thread
