In summary, the impact of age on the career of an electrical engineer can vary depending on the individual's skills, experience, and industry demand. Older engineers may have a wealth of knowledge and experience, but may face challenges in adapting to new technologies and may be less desirable to employers. Younger engineers may have a fresh perspective and be more tech-savvy, but may lack practical experience. It is important for electrical engineers of all ages to continuously update their skills and stay current with industry advancements in order to succeed in their careers.

I am an electrical engineer, nearly 60 now, and love keeping up with all areas of science. Have worked in the auto industry for 15 years and now work in aerospace. Just stumbled across this website and am enjoying it.
