SUMMARY

The discussion centers on selecting a suitable program in Vancouver that allows for credit transfer to an aerospace engineering program in Ontario. The user is considering institutions such as Simon Fraser University (SFU), the University of British Columbia (UBC), the University of Victoria (UVic), and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). The goal is to ensure that the chosen program facilitates a seamless transition into aerospace engineering after one or two years. The conversation highlights the need for strategic planning in academic pathways for prospective aerospace engineering students.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of credit transfer policies between universities
  • Familiarity with aerospace engineering program requirements
  • Knowledge of the academic offerings at SFU, UBC, UVic, and BCIT
  • Awareness of application processes for Ontario universities
NEXT STEPS
  • Research credit transfer agreements between BC institutions and Ontario universities
  • Investigate foundational courses in mathematics and physics relevant to aerospace engineering
  • Explore the specific aerospace engineering program requirements at Ontario universities
  • Connect with academic advisors at SFU, UBC, UVic, and BCIT for tailored guidance

I am planning on going to a University in Ontario to take a program in aerospace engineering but I may not get in, so I want to prepare for that. What program should I take in Vancouver so that I can transfer all of the credits into an aerospace engineering program a year or two down the road? I plan on applying again then, which I assume I can do. Also, they don't have any aerospace engineering programs here, only Ontario. Some good Universities here are SFU, UBC, UVic and BCIT is also good. Any general suggestions would be good too

Isn't this the third thread dealing with aerospace engineering programs in Ontario within a couple of days?

Yeah I seen a couple other people post similar topics, kinda weird. I posted one myself. This is different topic though.
