What Should a New Member Expect from PF?

hi all.
im new to the forum.
im not a physics dude or anything. not even uni educated so i hope i can keep up.
i like all thing science and accidently astumbled on this forum and thought it looks like a great place to chat to people smarter than me and hope to learn.
