Wow, that would have made it a tougher call, but I don't think I'd have actually changed my vote.

I'm still waiting for a sympathy vote on mine (yeah, yeah, I know I'm not getting any votes...my reward was just the joy of seeing the horror on all your faces when I posted that ).

I voted for chroot's photo because there is a double meaning in his theme (at least I see one, anyway). This is from the AIDS/LifeCycle ride, right? You could think about the tents that are no longer there because the event is over and the riders have gone home, but you could also think about all the people who are gone because they lost the battle with AIDS.

I think hypnagogue's was awesome. I like the contrast between the bright orange squares and the black and green natural scene. Really drew my eye. It has a feeling of movement too, between background and foreground. Kind of reminds me of a train...yeah getting too interpretive, stopping now
