I'll second that.

And who said that posts in GD aren't informative? I've learned so much from some of Ivan's posts, for example, things that have made me a better person, like knowing what a merkin is. :-p

Who moved the smilies again?

Wow, I didn't know anyone had specodated! Science really is in trouble now.

Eh, I don't mean to make fun of people who are trying to speak an unfamiliar language or just can't spell. The context is just funny.

After reading that I feel all... feel all...

All around the merry go round
The monkey chased the weasel
Jack fell down and broke his crown
Pop goes the weasel.

Oh, please. After falling for that trick three times in 10 seconds, do you really think I'm going to fall for it again?

Edit: Geez, I'm pathetic. I'll click on anything. But I waited a minute this time. (Actually, now I kind of wish it had been the same link as the other three.)

This might rather reflect differences in the perceived fit relative to one's own..

(Besides, around?)

Sorry ramollari. I guess I did hijack your thread.

To seriously answer your question, (maybe head it in a serious direction) I found a discussion in the engineering section on power generation by dropping water thousands of feet through a tower quite interesting. I did a search but I couldn't find it. If someone else remembers this thread maybe they can find it and post a link (I don't think anyone would trust mine anymore anyway.)
