AI Thread Summary
Chemical powder products are significantly more expensive than bead types, often costing double or triple the expected price. The price disparity can vary based on the specific chemicals in question, making it a broad topic without detailed context. Suppliers typically favor granules or crystals for shipping due to better preservation and reduced transport risks. For those needing powder, purchasing granular forms and grinding them down is a viable alternative. Overall, understanding the reasons behind pricing can help in making informed purchasing decisions.

I needed to do some experiments, so I was about to buy some chemical products.
But it failed because prices were so higher than I expected.
The prices got at least double, even triple.

Unless you are thinking of huge quantities, you could always purchase a product in granular form, then grind it to a powder yourself, if powder is necessary.
Suppliers usually ship granules or crystals because they preserve the substance better, and there is less risk from accidents in transport.
