Any idea why carriage returns disappear when editing posts ? It's getting beyond irritating, it's almost like it's not worth spacing properly or correcting typos with edits anymore.

Yes it is quite annoying, I think (hope) Greg, or someone, is working on the problems that have been happening since the "update."

Yes, Greg is aware of the problem with the edit function. I'll ask if it is something that can be resolved.

Thanks for the feedback.

I believe I fixed the problem. Can I get some confirmations?

Woo hoo! Thanks!

I just tested quoting a post with multiple paragraphs, and it looked okay.

I'm purposely creating this post with multiple paragraph breaks so I can try previewing and editing too.

(Looks like it's retaining the paragraph breaks after previewing.)

Edit: Paragraphs retained after editing too!

Yep, noticed it working earlier. Thanks. Now where is that :groan: smiley?!

Thanks, Greg!
rose you can type Lisa!(or!) when you need a groan smily!:shy:

Tested and it's working PERFECTLY ! Thanks Greg, you're the man.

Excellent. This bug had driven me to completely abandon the post preview function. :-p
