If my arithmetic is correct (aka I punched it into a calculator), it is counting down the seconds until the New Years.
 
It's the end of the world.

Google has collected so much information that it gained self-awareness and has determined exactly when the world will end.

To avoid mass hysteria Google decided not to divulge the information publicly, but instead created the unlabeled count-down because it couldn't keep the information entirely to itself... I mean honestly who would be able to keep the last greatest secret to themselves.

You know, it would be such an interesting world if I actually believed in conspiracy theories. :smile:
 
This week, I saw a documentary done by the French called Les sacrifiés de l'IA, which was presented by a Canadian show Enquête. If you understand French I recommend it. Very eye-opening.
