MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces at ICL

In summary, LuRu is feeling nervous about starting a new course in October after receiving an offer a few weeks ago. They are worried because they didn't have a high GPA and are asking for advice and thoughts. Another person on the course reassures them that the university must believe they are capable since they were offered a place. LuRu reveals they are from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and are still waiting for their visa.

Hey guys!

I got the offer a few weeks ago and I was wondering if anyone knows what to expect when I go there this October. I am feeling kinda nervous about it since getting the offer seems like a longshot when I applied(didnt get 1st, is currently a 2:1).

Any advices, thoughts and comments would be much appreciated!

Hi LuRu,

I'm also on the course. Not sure what to expect either :/. I've just finished my astrophys degree at Southampton Uni, which uni are you from?
I wouldn't be too nervous they offered you the place and so must believe you are capable of doing it. ttfn

Ah~ well, I doubt you would know my uni. I'm from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM), aka National University of Malaysia ;-)

I suppose, we'll see for ourselves when the course starts although I'm still waiting for my visa...>.<"
