so...i have some crazy engineering problem. anyway, part of the problem is how do i measure the charge of a molecule? i need to find the force, F = qE. i kno the electric field i am applying, but how can i physically measure the charge of the molecule? some people thought of using HPLC (high pressure liquid chromatography) which would allow for a comparison of charge against a known molecule. but...im just wondering if there's any other way to do it. thanks
