In summary, "The Constant Gardener" portrays the pharmaceutical industry as corrupt and profit-driven, willing to sacrifice human lives for their own gain. The movie is based on a true story, as it is adapted from a novel by John le Carré, which was inspired by a real-life incident involving a drug trial in Nigeria. The main theme of the movie is the exploitation and abuse of power by corporations and the need for individual responsibility and accountability. It also addresses the negative effects of globalization, particularly on developing countries, through its portrayal of the actions of the pharmaceutical industry in Africa. The acting in the movie, particularly by Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz, was highly praised by both critics and audiences.

Saw it yesterday. Classic Le Carre. Would probably have read the book but having watched the movie I don't think I will.

Decent movie. Nothing special but it was well-acted and kept me engaged. Worth the price of admission.

Actually, all she had to do was to publish the report on the Web. That didn't make sense at all.
