Has anyone obtained a MSc from Imperial College?

In summary, the speaker has been accepted into Imperial's postgraduate course in "Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces" and has received an offer. They have 20 days to decide if they will attend the course. They are looking for someone who has graduated from this course and can share their experiences, as they want to continue their studies and obtain a PhD in theoretical physics. The speaker is aware of the university's reputation and is considering other options from universities in the EU and Canada. They have calculated their living costs to be around 900-1000 pounds per month.

I don't have a degree from Imperial; but I do have PhD students who studied there (albeit not that course, I'm an experimentalist) and I visit Imperial (in Kensington) quite frequently.
It is one of the leading universities in the UK (and the world) with a very strong reputation when it comes to theoretical physics.
Like any university it has pros and cons; it wouldn't be my first choice if you prefer to study/live near a campus in a small town, but if you like central London and can find somewhere nice(ish) to live it is ideal.

What are your other options?

My options regard universities from the EU and Canada. however, Imperial is one of my best option according to QS and Shangai Rankings along with some others. I understand that whatever option hides a risk.

keeping that in mind, I tend to accept the offer.

The reason why, I posted this thread is to know what I should expect from my life at London at Imperial. Any detail the internet does not say

I calculate to spend aproximately 900-1000 pounds a moth for living costs (600-700 for rent and 300 for food). Are my caluclations correct ?
