Calculating Activation Energy and Rate Constant for a Chemical Reaction
Yes thank you. I already figured this out on my own. That is exactly what I did. Ea=100,232, A=8.47x10^9, and with T=425 I got 4.06x10^-3 for k. I hope i did the math right but it looks right.- kittymaniac84

Calculating Kc Equilibrium for PCl3 + Cl2 = PCL5 at 230°C
The equilibrium constant Kc for the reaction, PCl3 (g) + Cl2 (g) = PCL5 (g), equals 49 at 230°C. If 0.400 mol each of phosphorus trichloride and chlorine are added to a 4.0 Liter reaction vessel, what is the equilibrium composition of the mixture at 230°C?- kittymaniac84

A reaction of the form aA = products is second order with a rate constant of 0.169 L/(mol s). If the initial concentration of A is 0.159 mol/L, how many seconds would it take for the concentration of A to decrease to 6.07 x 10^-3 mol/L ? how to solve these- kittymaniac84

Calculate the value of Kc for the dissociation reaction
[SOLVED] need help At 77°C, 2 mols of nitrosyl bromide, NOBr, placed in a 1 liter flask dissociates to the extent of 9.4%; that is, for each mol of NOBr before reaction, (1.000-0.094) mol NOBr remains after dissociation. Calculate the value of Kc for the dissociation reaction. 2NOBr (g) =...- kittymaniac84

Calculating Activation Energy and Rate Constant for a Chemical Reaction
[SOLVED] Activation energy The reaction, 2NOCI (g) = 2NO (g) + Cl^{}_2{}(g) , has rate constant values for the reaction of NOCl of 9.3 x 10^-6 Is at 350 K and 6.9 x 10^-4 Is at 400 K. Calculate the activation energy for the reaction. What is the rate constant at 425 K? I am unsure how to...- kittymaniac84
