Which type of image does a solar oven and search light produce?
So far, I've figured out that the object is placed at the focal point for the car headlight... and I'm guessing that the object in a solar oven would be beyond the centre of curvature- leehom

Which type of image does a solar oven and search light produce?
Both use concave mirrors... however; I'm not sure which one produces a virtual image and which one produces a real image??- leehom

Can someone check if i'm doing this right?
Dubbie is moving directly along a normal line toward a plain mirror at a speed of 3.5 m/s, what is the speed of the image relative to Dubbie? v Dubbie + v mirror = v image 3.5 m/s + 3.5 m/s = 7.0 m/s What is the speed of the image, relative to Dubbie, if Dubbie walk away from the...- leehom

How far is the image of the star from the concave mirror?
Homework Statement The light from a star reflects from a concave mirror with a radius of curvature of 1.70 m. Determine how far the image of the star is from the surface of the mirror. Speed of light = 3.0 x 10^8 m/s r = 1.7 m f = 0.85 m 1/di + 1/do = 1/f... and then I'm stuck b/c...- leehom

Apparent distance of object in planar mirror
well... i wrote that the letters would have to "reversed" so that they would appear upright in the mirror according to prop. of images formed by a plane mirror... and another quick verification on this question: Light is shining on to a plane mirror at an angle of incidence of 27 deg. If...- leehom
