Trying to measure gauge pressure in a water pipe (under 1 psi)

thanks. I've come across those but can't see any that mention working with fluids and fit the bill Any idea?

Trying to measure gauge pressure in a water pipe (under 1 psi)

I'm trying to measure and regulate gauge pressure in a pipe that has water flowing through it, but I need the pressure to be about .75psi (1.8 ft H2O). Most dial gauge ranges are too high and not accurate enough. Pressure transducers I've had no luck with as far as finding one that's inexpensive...

Effective Mass of Cantilever beam (getting .36m instead of .23m)

Ha, thanks. Didn't think Id need a refresher on completing the square! :blushing:

Effective Mass of Cantilever beam (getting .36m instead of .23m)

Homework Statement Im trying to find the equivalent mass of a beam so it can be modeled as a hanging point mass problem. Given the v = y_dot equation, y equation, and T Somewhere I am messing up with my math I believe as I am getting .36m instead of what I believe should be .23m...

Having trouble grasping Fluid Mechanics. Tips?

Ive found Fluids and Heat Transfer stuff to be difficult so far in my learning. I, for some reason, can't put everything together and feel like there is just this overwhelming abundance of equations that you need to know how to manipulate to get what is asked. My issue is that I don't know...
