Thevenin and Norton equivalent circuits
Hi guys, Sorry if all you guys think this question is too easy. But I have a hard time to understand how to group the resistor. I suppose to find the the thevenin and Norton equivalent circuit. This is what i think about the combination of resistor. Req1= RL+1k Req2= Req1 ll 3.3k (3.3k after...- TwinCamGTS

Two capacitors are connected in parallel
thanks guys... apparently the answer is current is reaching zero after sometimes. and somehow we need to do the derivative. but i didnot do that, i just plug in the number lucky guess- TwinCamGTS

Two capacitors are connected in parallel
Homework Statement Two capacitors (C1 = 9.3 μF and C2 = 29 μF) are connected in parallel across a 12 V battery. a) Find the equivalent capacitance of the two capacitors. Ceq=C1+C2=9.3+29=38.3μF After some time has passed (use for rest of problem): b) How much current flows in this...- TwinCamGTS

Find the power of the light bulb
I use they way you described to solve it. I got 17 lights bulb needed to being the power down to 50% from its actual power. But its wrong. Just wondering, do you try to solve it and do you get the same result? Or maybe i did it wrong. I can't post my work coz I am at work and i can't attach the...- TwinCamGTS

Find the power of the light bulb
hi guys, i just re-edit the problem. sorry for the confusion because at first i just need the concept of how to solve the last problem which is to find how many light bulbs need to be added to the circuit on parallel so that the power output will be ____% from its actual value. thank you for...- TwinCamGTS

Find the power of the light bulb
Homework Statement In the figure below, you will attach one or more light bulbs of R=30.12 Ω in parallel with the battery (with ε = 20 V, internal resistance r). (i will upload with work and the picture of the wiring diagram) a.) For an ideal battery (r=0), what would be power...- TwinCamGTS

Voltage of cylinder of radius R
I finally got it right. Apparently i was stupid to cross out the value during the integration just because they set the V=0 at r=3R. so i ended up get everything wrong. thank you for your help :D i appreaciate it- TwinCamGTS

Electric field of a non uniform charge of a cylinder
i got it, thanks...so the density charge gets higher as the radius get bigger. so i integrated the parts Qenc = ∫(A*r^2)2∏*r*H*dr r=Radius of gauss put into the gauss law EA=Qenclosed/εo E(2∏*r*H)=(∫(A*r^2)2∏*r*H*dr)/εo rearrange everything and cancel some of the...- TwinCamGTS

Voltage of cylinder of radius R
i don't know what to do. I just do the easiest thing first, which is find the voltage V at r=R based on the integration, i have 2 answers. either 711.864 (integrated from r=0 to r=R) or 4005.527 (integrated from r=3R to r=R) i put down either answer, and its wrong... i find out that its...- TwinCamGTS

Voltage of cylinder of radius R
yeah, that's what i thought but the webassign said my answer is wrong, so i wonder what is the way to do it then? so you say the method I am doing it is correct isn't it? Or is be because the equation that i use is wrong? when r=R, do i use equation of r gauss < R cylinder or r gauss > R...- TwinCamGTS
