    Wow, it works! Thanks =)

    Finding the Solution to xy = x/y = x-y When y ≠ 0

One of my friends asked me this, and I have no idea how to get the answer. I don't even know if there is an answer... if someone could help, that'd be great: xy = x/y = x-y If y cannot equal 0, what is the value of x and y? Thanks :D

    Ahh, that's embarrasing. Thanks =)

    Developing special and general relativity

Well, I have a project in English class, actually, to look at a media idol. I chose Einstein! While I've already gotten the pepsi comercial, I need more information. I was thinking of comparing what he actually did while developing special and general relativity, to what the media now want us...

    Casimir Effect and Perpetual Motion

My question isn't if it's practicle or not, but, is it possible?

    Casimir Effect and Perpetual Motion

But would I be correct to assume that this creates energy? If so, this still provides a basis for a perpetual motion machine?

    Casimir Effect and Perpetual Motion

But could we not "hold" those plates at those positions, and the energy pulling them in would subsequently be the energy gained?

    Casimir Effect and Perpetual Motion

I read about the Casimir effect right away, and the first thing that came to me was a question. If quantum fluctuations can in empty space can move two completely uncharged metal plates at small distances, then wouldn't that give the potential for a perpetual motion machine? I realize...

Can We Ever Be Certain About Our Reasoning Processes?

People believe in certainty because they want to. I've tried to explain the entire process of uncertainty to people that I know, and yet, they don't want to grasp it. Most of society need a firm grasp on something they can call the truth, and thus, even if they realize it's fake, they'll still...

Lingusitics Hilarious use of language to the extreme

I'm not in a bad mood, and I'm not really in any way annoyed, or about to metaphorically fall off a cliff (or physically fall off, to avoid another 'joke' there. Which if made, would've been slightly funny). It's just not funny, I don't know what else to say. =\

Lingusitics Hilarious use of language to the extreme

I doubt that, seeing as almost everything makes me laugh. However, Trib's aforementioned remark was not the least bit funny, nor did it even make sense. Trib, your last remark was also not funny. I can't even begin to show my disgust.

How did you win the funny award? That remark was not funny, at all.

Lingusitics Hilarious use of language to the extreme

=x Yeah, that's my mistake =\ Not speaking English as a first language wouldn't really suffice as an excuse, so yes, I'll correct myself from now on. :) Isn't it ironic how you declare that type of speaking a racial predisposition, without me saying anything? Yet, you're scrutinizing me...
