How is literally EVERYTHING in physics not binary?

SUMMARY

The discussion centers on the interpretation of binary concepts in physics and the enforcement of strict adherence to mainstream scientific literature on PhysicsForums. The forum moderators emphasize that all posts must align with professional scientific sources, rejecting personal theories without citations. The user challenges this by proposing debates on non-mainstream ideas but is reminded that the forum prioritizes maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio by closing threads that deviate from accepted scientific discourse. The binary nature referenced pertains to established scientific models such as the Big Bang, which the forum defines strictly within professional literature.

PREREQUISITES

  • Understanding of mainstream physics concepts as presented in professional scientific literature
  • Familiarity with academic publishing standards and citation requirements
  • Knowledge of forum moderation policies and community guidelines
  • Basic comprehension of binary logic in scientific contexts

NEXT STEPS

  • Study the role of binary logic in quantum mechanics and cosmology
  • Review PhysicsForums’ Terms of Service and posting guidelines
  • Explore methods for validating scientific theories through peer-reviewed publications
  • Learn effective debate techniques within scientific communities adhering to evidence-based standards

USEFUL FOR

Physics students, amateur theorists, science communicators, and forum moderators seeking to understand the importance of evidence-based discussion and moderation policies in scientific online communities.

TL;DR
how is the universe not binary?
i will debate the most brilliant minds alive, with this

Physics news on Phys.org
I feel im gonna get kicked out if i share what i know. It has happened before. Maybe not here, but I would rather debate than just be kicked out by posting my theories. I am more than happy to post my theories and then have a debate than post my theories and get banished because it is not the actual going theory. So am i a go to say what i think? what i see? what i know?

The problem with "sharing what you know" is that unless it commonly accepted, you will need citations.
Here's an except from the Terms:
  • We wish to discuss mainstream science. That means only topics that can be found in textbooks or that have been published in reputable journals.

This entire thing is 0 or 1. I am gonna be happy to explain to anyone that wants to debate. The big bang, itself, is binary.

And to say that it is too much of a simplification is disregarding reality and what binary actually means. It means far more than just 0 or 1

All posts on PhysicsForums should be consistent with the professional scientific literature. What you personally theorize is not relevant unless it is consistent with the literature

Why?
Because we have found through years of experience that this is the best way to keep the signal to noise ratio high.
