AI Thread Summary
Energy originates primarily from the sun, which provides solar energy and heat essential for powering machines and sustaining life. The discussion emphasizes that while questions about the origin of matter are common, the origin of energy is often overlooked. It highlights the principle that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed into different forms. This transformation is crucial for various processes in both technology and biology. Ultimately, understanding energy's source is vital for comprehending its role in the universe.

Everyone always seems to only ask "where did matter come from?"

What are your thoughts?

There is no physical explanation for the existence of the universe. That's simply the realm of philosophy.

Truly, energy comes from the sun, solar energy or heat. With this, we are able to move machines and organisms are able to do various tasks. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only change forms. We get most of our energy from the sun.

So I know that electrons are fundamental, there's no 'material' that makes them up, it's like talking about a colour itself rather than a car or a flower. Now protons and neutrons and quarks and whatever other stuff is there fundamentally, I want someone to kind of teach me these, I have a lot of questions that books might not give the answer in the way I understand. Thanks
