Scoring an item from multiple parameters

AI Thread Summary
To score an item based on multiple parameters, a method is needed to consolidate various types of data, including binary responses, percentages, and scores. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is suggested as a viable approach to identify the most informative combination of these inputs for an overall score. Providing a specific example of the parameters would enhance understanding and facilitate more tailored advice. The goal is to derive a single score that effectively represents the item's overall performance. Utilizing PCA could streamline this process by reducing dimensionality while retaining essential information.

Hi,

I would like to score an item. The item has around 10 parameter. Each parameter is depics how it reacts to each tests. Some parameters are just Yes or No. Few other parameters give the percentage of their performance in that particular test. And the remaining are scores.

I want to take into account all the parameters/characteristic and give 1 score or constant that would characterise the item overall.

Thanks in advance,
Sandy.

Your description is very vague. It would help if you could give an example.

I was reading documentation about the soundness and completeness of logic formal systems. Consider the following $$\vdash_S \phi$$ where ##S## is the proof-system making part the formal system and ##\phi## is a wff (well formed formula) of the formal language. Note the blank on left of the turnstile symbol ##\vdash_S##, as far as I can tell it actually represents the empty set. So what does it mean ? I guess it actually means ##\phi## is a theorem of the formal system, i.e. there is a...
