Hello all,
This is karthik, currently doing PhD @ Germany in the topic of High Voltage Vacuum Interrupters. I am glad to be the part of PF. I must admit that some of the discussions here helped me to improve my knowledge of basic principles in electrical engineering. That is one of the main reasons i have joined now and i am also planning to study a new topic called Short circuit calculations. I hope this forum has one or two experts in this field to answer my some times silly questions ;) ..

Regards,
Karthik

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
