  • Conceptual clarification

Main Points Raised

  • One participant expresses a desire to work at ISRO or NASA and seeks advice on whether to pursue a Master's in cosmology or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Another participant questions the initial poster's background and motivations, suggesting that a PhD might be more common for such positions than a Master's degree.

Areas of Agreement / Disagreement

Participants do not reach a consensus on which educational path is better, and multiple perspectives on educational requirements and career aspirations are presented.

Contextual Notes

There are limitations in the discussion, such as the lack of detailed background information from the original poster and the ambiguity regarding the relevance of a Master's versus a PhD for careers at ISRO or NASA.

You are leaving out a HUGE amount of background information here. (i) where in the world are you and where do you intend to go to school? (ii) what educational background do you have? (iii) Why "Masters", since most people who do that type of work have PhDs?

But more importantly, you may have the wrong idea about people who are associated with institutions such as NASA. So before proceeding any further, read the links in this:
